Ed Sheeran surprised a bunch of fans at a Dublin cinema with tickets to his gig

FM104 organised a ‘live screening’ of the gig for fans who didn’t have tickets… except it wasn’t a live screening.

LAST NIGHT, ED Sheeran played the first of two sold-out gigs in Dublin’s 3Arena. Just look at all those happy faces:

Obviously, there were a lot of disappointed fans who didn’t manage to get tickets – but Ed surprised a lucky few by making their wish come true.

During the week, FM104 ran a competition offering those who missed out the chance to watch the show live from Dublin’s Odeon cinema, right beside the 3Arena.

The winning bunch were settling down to watch the show on the big screen last night…

…When in walked the man himself.

This was no live screening – it was a meet and greet, and Ed had tickets for all of them to come to the show.

Please listen to the deafening screams that accompanied the revelation:

After delivering the news, Ed took a bit of time to chat to the fans and pose for selfies before rushing off to perform.

We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again: Ed Sheeran, you’re sound.
